Owner’s Perspectives
Idaho Falls RV Park
Of all the things I imagined in life, I never thought I’d be in the middle of building a luxury RV park in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Yet here we are with The Idaho Falls Luxury RV Park! And so proud of what we have created! It’s our way of channeling our “inner Disney” for RV parks. It has been a two-year journey and we have learned so much!
My husband, Randy, and I started RVing over 3 years ago and found a lack of luxury RV parks in the Mountain West where we wanted to explore and spend time. So, we decided that we would build a park with the ideas we had gathered from our road trips. We specifically set out to build the best luxury RV park near Yellowstone, Jackson Hole, and The Tetons.
We found an abandoned drive-in theatre property located along the Snake River and just two miles from downtown Idaho Falls. One of the best features is the Idaho Falls Greenbelt Trail – a 10-mile paved walking/biking path along the river. We have direct access to the trial so we can do more than walk circles within the park.
This RV Park is near lots of recreational activities such as hiking, fishing, skiing, snowmobiling, and sand dunes. Within a couple of hours of Jackson, Wyoming it is an easy day trip to explore all of Jackson Hole.
A great option for RV Parks near Yellowstone
Approximately 90 miles from Yellowstone National Park, Idaho Falls is nicknamed the “Gateway to Adventure” since it is the last major city before reaching local national parks. It is an ideal place to refill RV tanks, stock up on groceries and pick-up last-minute camping conveniences.
Extra-large pull through sites are up to 100’ in length for even the longest RVs plus their tow vehicles and wide enough for slide outs and generous grassy areas between neighboring sites. For us, when traveling in our RV, we look for convenient highway access and parks that are easy to maneuver large rigs. We’re just 2 miles from the I-15. Let’s face it, driving large RVs and often towing a car behind is stressful and we wanted to design and build a park that made it easy to park and set up.
Once settled in here, join us at our huge community fireplace to swap road trip stories of nearby Yellowstone, Henry’s Fork, The Tetons, and Jackson Hole. Or if you need to work off some energy after sitting in a vehicle for several hours, grab a pickleball paddle and head to one of the two pickle ball courts for a friendly game.
As for long-term stays, the Idaho Falls Luxury RV Park provides peace of mind with a secured gated entrance only allowing registered guests in. The sizable, tiled bathrooms will impress with heated floors, and a beautiful laundry room has brand new washers and dryers. You can relax and call this home for a month at a time with our long-term stay package pricing.
